Blast email campaigns

Email campaigns allow you to send a one-time blast email to all of your subscribers at once. These are a great option for announcements, new products and sales.

You can enable the automation in one of 2 ways:

  1. In the dashboard, click Get Started under Email Campaigns

  1. In the left bar menu, navigate to Email - Campaigns and click Create New Campaign:

  • You will be directed to the new campaign editing page

Text Editor

Here you will have access to three sections for control:

1. Discount

You will have access to two discount options, automatic and pre-made. An automatic discount will be generated automatically, you only need to specify the amount of the discount. Pre-made discount you need to create in your Shopify admin.

⚠️ WARNING: If you do not want to offer any discount, then simply select pre-made and do not insert anything into the discount field.

2. Preview

  1. Subject- edit the email subject content- this will be the subject the customer sees in his inbox

  1. Email Preview- edit the preview test that your customer will see in his inbox before opening the email

3. Email Content

  1. Header- the main header text within the email

  1. Top Body Text- the body text within the email. The body text is divided to two parts, and you can decide to use both parts or just one of them

  1. Discount Banner Text- the banner is a sub-header in your email, appearing right before the cart content section

  1. Bottom Body Text- the second part of the email's body text. This will appear below the banner

  1. Footer- the email's footer content, where you can add whatever content or disclaimer to your footer

  1. Unsubscribe confirmation -

  1. URL- the url the customer will be directed to when he clicks the button (if you are offering a discount, you might want to enter the discount's link here)

  1. Button Text- the CTA button in the email

💡 TIP: Fastr automatically adds your store's email and an unsubscribe button to your emails footer, so you don't have to add those.

Dynamic tags

Dynamic tags - these allow you to add dynamic content to your email. You can use them anywhere you want on your email's content:

  • {domain} - your store's domain name
  • {first name} - first name of your customer
  • {last name} - last name of your customer
  • {siteName} - your store's name as defined in Shopify
  • {unsubscribeLink} Unsubscribe {/unsubscribeLink} - and unsubscribe link. You can change the text between the two tags to change the display name of the link

Design Editor

In this part you will be able to edit the colors and design of your email. To get to the design editor, simply click the Design Editor tab at the top of the screen.

  1. Upload your logo image - upload your logo image if you need to show your customer your logo or some kind of image

  1. Fallback Text - this text will be displayed instead of the image in case there has been an issue loading it

  1. Header Text- the text color of the main header

  1. Body Text - text color your email

  1. Link- the color of links in the email

  1. Discount Banner Text- the text color of the email's banner section

Save & Publish

One you finished editing your email, you can either save it as draft or continue to save and publish it. You can also click the Cancel button, which will delete all the changes you just made.

If you saved your email as a draft, it will appear under Drafts in your email campaigns page, and you can come back and send it whenever you want.

Publish

If you decide to publish the email, you can click Next and reach the publishing page.

In the publishing page, you have two options:

  1. Schedule now- will send the email to all of your subscribers immediately

  1. Schedule later- will allow you to schedule the email for later. When you choose this option you will also have to define the following:

  • Date & time - use the date picker to select the date & time
  • Send all at the same time - when chosen, all emails will be sent at the same time (your store's timezone)
  • Delivered at user's timezone - when chosen, the email will be sent in the date & time you selected according to the customer's local time

Launch

Once you click Launch the email will be scheduled to be sent according to your settings.

You will be automatically redirected to the email campaigns page and see your new campaign under Scheduled:

After the email finishes sending, you can see it under History and view some statistics of the campaign:
